G.R.A.A.B. is the anti-addictive behavior coalition for Cleveland and Bradley
County, Tennessee - formed by a powerful partnership between local and state agencies and organizations. Currently, our focus is on the illicit and addictive use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs - especially as it relates to our youth. With time, we hope to expand that focus to include all addictive behaviors.
Our partners are committed to the vision that we can one day live in a community where, because of effective prevention, drug abuse and other addictive behaviors are rare - but when they do occur, are responded to with treatment and recovery resources that work and are available to anyone - regardness of status or income.
Achieving this vision will take time, hard work, and a sustained collaboration - or coalition - involving all sectors of the community: youth, parents, education, healthcare, mental health, substance abuse treatment, recovery services, criminal justice, the media, business and industry, and others.
If you, your agency, or organization are interested in partnering with this coalition, please contact us. Together, we can make the kind of difference for Cleveland and Bradley County that none of us can make alone!
But especially, if you or someone you know needs information about or help with drug and alcohol abuse or addiction, or any other addictive behavior, please contact us - someone will be there quickly to listen and point you to the resources you need.
